Sue’s Safe Haven is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive shelter for homeless women and children. Our Mission is to empower them through education, personal growth and mentorship, helping them reclaim their sense of self and build a future rooted in responsibility, stability and holistic well-being -mentally, financially and spiritually.

Our Vision 

Sue's Safe Haven aims to create a community where homelessness is transformed into hope and stability. We provide education, mentorship, and grace to break the cycle of homelessness, fostering resilience and self-sufficiency. Their vision is not just to provide shelter but to cultivate a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where all women and children can thrive.

Emergency care? 

Sue's Safe Haven Inc provides safe housing, nutritionally balanced meals, clothing, hot showers, and a bed.

 How to access our Emergency Shelter:

    1. The Emergency Shelter phone line is open from 4:30p-8pm M-F. On the weekends, during inclement weather, the Emergency Shelter line is open all day.

     2. Call us at (913) 400-2980 ext. 101 at 4:30p -8pm M-F and we will give you instructions on how to access our facility and to learn more about the services we provide.
